Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Salted Butter (Use European-style for extra tenderness)
- 1 cup Confectioners’ Sugar (Granulated sugar can work in a pinch)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Opt for pure vanilla for the best taste)
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour (1:1 gluten-free flour can be used)
- 1 cup Mini Chocolate Morsels (Can swap for chocolate chunks if desired)
- 1 cup Toffee Pieces (Chopped nuts can be substituted)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, beat together softened salted butter and confectioners’ sugar using an electric mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
- Pour in the vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the bowl, mixing gently until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in mini chocolate morsels and toffee pieces carefully.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on a prepared baking sheet, spacing them about one inch apart.
- If the dough feels warm, chill it in the fridge for about 5-10 minutes.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
