Instructions
- Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese together with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Mix the Pudding: Whisk in the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until the mixture thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
- Fold in Topping: Carefully fold in the whipped topping until everything is just combined.
- Layer the Wafers: Place half of the vanilla wafers in a 9×13-inch dish.
- Add Pudding and Strawberries: Spread half of the pudding mixture over the wafers, then top with half of the sliced strawberries.
- Repeat the Layers: Repeat with the remaining vanilla wafers, pudding mixture, and sliced strawberries.
- Refrigerate: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
