Description

Slow Cooker Alfredo Marinara Chicken is a creamy, comforting dish combining Alfredo sauce with marinara. Slow-cooked for tender chicken, it’s perfect for weeknights or family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup creamy Alfredo sauce (preferably thick)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (preferably thick)
  • 3 garlic cloves, freshly minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sear in olive oil until browned on both sides.
  2. Combine Alfredo sauce, marinara sauce, and minced garlic in a bowl. Stir well.
  3. Place the seared chicken in the slow cooker. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
  4. Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 4 to 6 hours, until tender.
  5. About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the chicken and stir the sauce.
