- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup creamy Alfredo sauce (preferably thick)
- 1 cup marinara sauce (preferably thick)
- 3 garlic cloves, freshly minced
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sear in olive oil until browned on both sides.
- Combine Alfredo sauce, marinara sauce, and minced garlic in a bowl. Stir well.
- Place the seared chicken in the slow cooker. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
- Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 4 to 6 hours, until tender.
- About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the chicken and stir the sauce.
