Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup of honey, 1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss them until they are fully coated. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes. For deeper flavor, marinate in the fridge for up to 2 hours.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the marinated wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. Flip the wings halfway through to ensure they are crispy on both sides. If you want them even crispier, broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end.
- Once baked, remove the wings from the oven and brush them with any remaining marinade for an extra layer of flavor.
