Hissy Fit Dip is a warm, creamy, cheesy appetizer made for parties and game days. This recipe combines savory sausage, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, and diced tomatoes with green chiles for a bold dip.

- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 10 oz diced tomatoes with green chiles, drained
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Brown the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
- Lower the heat and stir in the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
- Add the drained diced tomatoes with green chiles, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
- Fold in 3/4 cup cheddar cheese and 3/4 cup Monterey Jack cheese, mixing until melted and combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a small baking dish or keep it in an oven-safe skillet. Top with the remaining cheddar and Monterey Jack.
- Bake at 375°F for 15 to 20 minutes, until hot, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.
- Rest for 5 minutes, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve warm.
