- 1 box vanilla or chocolate cupcake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- Red food coloring
- 1 cup white frosting (store-bought or homemade)
- Colorful chocolate baubles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake tray with colorful liners.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cupcake mix, eggs, softened butter, and milk. Beat until smooth.
- Stir in red food coloring until you achieve a festive hue.
- Spoon the batter into prepared liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, pipe the white frosting onto each cupcake in a cone shape to create Santa hats.
- Top each frosted cupcake with colorful chocolate baubles as ornaments.
