Description

A refreshing smoothie that combines the zesty flavor of fresh oranges with the creamy sweetness of vanilla yogurt, reminiscent of childhood popsicles.


Ingredients

  • 2 Fresh oranges, peeled and segmented
  • 1 cup Vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 Frozen banana, sliced
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 12 tbsp Honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel the oranges and separate them into segments. Slice and freeze the banana if not already done.
  2. Add orange segments, frozen banana slices, and vanilla yogurt to the blender.
  3. Pour in the milk; adjust for thickness as desired.
  4. Add the vanilla extract for flavor.
  5. Mix in honey or maple syrup if desired.
  6. Add ice cubes for a chilled texture if you’re using fresh banana.
  7. Secure lid and blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust thickness with more milk if needed.
  8. Test and adjust sweetness or thickness as desired.
  9. Pour into a glass, garnish with an orange slice or mint, and enjoy!
