  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (or blend with cheddar)
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese (or use Pecorino)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper (substitute with white pepper)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg (can be replaced with paprika)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (or substitute with butter)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion in olive oil over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and continue cooking for an additional minute.
  3. Whisk together the cottage cheese, eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
