  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices thin sliced ham
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Butter or oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Carefully pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/4 inch.
  2. Place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each flattened chicken breast.
  3. Tightly roll the chicken around the filling, tucking in the edges.
  4. Lightly dredge each roll in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the rolls until golden brown on all sides. Transfer to a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
