Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Provolone cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Bell peppers (sliced)
  • 1 cup Onion (sliced)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic, bell peppers, and onion; sauté until softened.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the provolone cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Drain the tortellini and add it to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.
