  • 1 cup ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt to taste
  • White pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chopped baby bok choy

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: In a medium bowl, combine ground pork, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and white pepper. Mix well.
  2. Fill the wontons: Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of a wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold into a triangle, and press to seal. Repeat for all filling.
  3. Boil the broth: In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  4. Cook the wontons: Carefully add wontons to the boiling broth. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
  5. Add bok choy and finish: Add chopped baby bok choy and simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, use finely chopped mushrooms and tofu as a filling substitute.
