  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (120g) dried cranberries
  • 1 cup (170g) white chocolate chips
  • Optional: zest of one orange

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in dried cranberries, white chocolate chips, and optional orange zest.
  7. Chill dough for 15–20 minutes to prevent spreading.
  8. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
