Description
Classic Whiskey Sour is smooth, bright, and perfectly balanced with bourbon, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and an egg white. It’s an easy cocktail for any occasion.

- 4 ounces bourbon
- 1 1/2 ounce lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 2–3 teaspoons egg white optional
- lemon wedge and maraschino cherry for garnish
Instructions
- Add the bourbon to a cocktail shaker.
- Add the lemon juice to the shaker.
- Add the simple syrup to the shaker.
- Add the egg white to the shaker.
- Shake well for 20 seconds.
- Add a cup of ice to the shaker and shake for another 20 seconds.
- Fill the rocks glasses with ice.
- Strain the mixture into the glasses and garnish with the lemon wedge and maraschino cherry on a skewer.
