Ingredients

  • Veal Cutlets: 4 pieces
  • Italian Breadcrumbs: 1 cup
  • Eggs: 2, beaten
  • Marinara Sauce: 2 cups
  • Mozzarella Cheese: 1 cup, shredded
  • Parmesan Cheese: 1/2 cup, grated
  • Olive Oil: for frying
  • Fresh Basil: for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pound the veal cutlets to an even thickness using a meat mallet.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. In another dish, whisk the eggs.
  3. Dip each veal cutlet into the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the veal for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish.
