  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Indulge in the warm, soothing flavors of Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea, a delightful beverage that feels like a warm hug in a cup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves (Assam or Darjeeling)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 cup of milk (whole, almond, oat, or coconut)
  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
  • Sweetener of choice (honey, maple syrup, or sugar)
  • Optional spices (pinch of nutmeg or cardamom)

Instructions

  1. Start by boiling about 2 cups of water in a small pot.
  2. Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves and 2 cinnamon sticks. Let it steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
  3. After steeping, strain the tea into a separate pot or directly into your favorite mug. Discard the tea leaves and cinnamon sticks.
  4. In the same pot where you strained the tea, add 1 cup of milk. Heat it gently until it’s warm but not boiling. Stir occasionally to prevent scorching.
  5. Once the milk is warmed, add 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and your sweetener of choice. Stir well to combine.
  6. Pour the warm milk mixture back into your brewed tea, stirring gently to combine the flavors.
  7. For an extra touch, sprinkle a dash of ground cinnamon on top or add an additional cinnamon stick for presentation.
  8. Enjoy your Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea warm, perhaps with a cozy blanket and a good book!
