Description
Indulge in the warm, soothing flavors of Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea, a delightful beverage that feels like a warm hug in a cup.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups of water
- 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves (Assam or Darjeeling)
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 cup of milk (whole, almond, oat, or coconut)
- 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
- Sweetener of choice (honey, maple syrup, or sugar)
- Optional spices (pinch of nutmeg or cardamom)
Instructions
- Start by boiling about 2 cups of water in a small pot.
- Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves and 2 cinnamon sticks. Let it steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
- After steeping, strain the tea into a separate pot or directly into your favorite mug. Discard the tea leaves and cinnamon sticks.
- In the same pot where you strained the tea, add 1 cup of milk. Heat it gently until it’s warm but not boiling. Stir occasionally to prevent scorching.
- Once the milk is warmed, add 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and your sweetener of choice. Stir well to combine.
- Pour the warm milk mixture back into your brewed tea, stirring gently to combine the flavors.
- For an extra touch, sprinkle a dash of ground cinnamon on top or add an additional cinnamon stick for presentation.
- Enjoy your Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea warm, perhaps with a cozy blanket and a good book!
