  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)

Instructions

  1. Combine the raisins, currants, and sultanas in a bowl. Add enough orange juice to soak them for at least one hour.
  2. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Stir in the soaked fruits along with the vegetarian suet and eggs into the dry mixture until fully blended.
  4. Grease a pudding basin or heatproof bowl. Fill it with the mixture and cover tightly with parchment paper and foil. Place it in a pot of simmering water and steam for about six hours.
