- 4 large flour tortillas
- 0.5 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup pepperoni slices (or diced cooked ham)
- 0.25 cup chopped bell peppers
- 0.25 teaspoon dried oregano
- olive oil (for brushing)
- optional toppings (grated parmesan, red pepper flakes, fresh basil)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to get it nice and hot while you prepare the rolls.
- Lay out the tortillas flat and generously spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each one, covering them evenly.
- Sprinkle a cup of shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce, then add pepperoni, chopped bell peppers, and a dash of dried oregano for extra flavor.
- Tightly roll each tortilla into a log shape so that all the delicious filling is secured inside.
- Cut the rolled tortillas into 1-inch thick pieces and place them cut-side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Lightly brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil; this will give them that lovely golden brown finish.
- Pop the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, until they are bubbling and beautifully golden.
- Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, and sprinkle with grated parmesan, red pepper flakes, or fresh basil if desired.
