Description

Taco Crock Pot Hashbrown Casserole is a cheesy, comforting dish that combines taco flavors with crispy hashbrowns, ground beef, and melty cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 oz packet taco seasoning
  • 10.5 oz cheddar cheese soup
  • 30 oz frozen shredded hashbrowns
  • 2 cups shredded taco-style cheese (divided)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef with garlic in a skillet and drain the fat.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef, taco seasoning, cheddar cheese soup, frozen hashbrowns, and 1 cup of shredded cheese.
  3. Lightly grease the crockpot and pour the mixture into the slow cooker.
  4. Top the casserole with the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-2.5 hours. If desired, place under a broiler for 90 seconds to brown the cheese.
