- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Butter, softened
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons Milk
Instructions
- Cream the softened butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Gradually incorporate 2 cups of all-purpose flour on low speed until just combined.
- Crush 1 ounce of freeze-dried strawberries into a fine powder and gently fold it into the dough.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface; gently knead it, then roll it out to 1/2 inch thickness.
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and bake for 18-22 minutes until just lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Whisk together 1 cup of powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth for the glaze.
- Drizzle or dip the cooled cookies in the glaze, letting it set completely before serving.
