- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- 3 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Puree the strawberries in a blender until smooth.
- In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin in water.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the strawberry puree into the whipped cream.
- Add the dissolved gelatin and mix until combined.
- Pour into serving dishes and chill for at least 2 hours.
- For the sauce, blend additional strawberries with a little sugar and drizzle over the mousse before serving.
