  • 3 large eggs
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well blended and smooth.
  3. Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  4. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy and well combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter. Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the cream cheese mixture into the batter, creating a marbled effect.
  7. Sprinkle the brown sugar and chopped walnuts evenly over the top of the batter.
  8. Place the cake in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
