Description

These Spinach Artichoke Swirls are a mouthwatering and easy-to-make appetizer that will impress your guests. The combination of creamy spinach, artichoke, and cheese wrapped in flaky puff pastry is simply irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
  • 1 cup chopped canned artichoke hearts
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Roll it out into a 12×12-inch square.
  4. Spread the spinach-artichoke mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. Starting from one side, tightly roll up the puff pastry to create a long cylinder.
  6. Slice the rolled-up pastry into 1-inch thick pieces.
  7. Place the swirls, cut-side up, on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
  9. Serve the Spinach Artichoke Swirls warm.
