Description

Sopapilla Cheesecake is a delightful dessert that combines the flavors of traditional sopapillas with a creamy cheesecake filling, creating a sweet and savory treat that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crescent roll dough
  • 2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and lay it in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it on top of the cream cheese layer.
  6. Pour the melted butter over the top layer of dough.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the powdered sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the melted butter.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
