Ingredients

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup milk
  • Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mash bananas and mix with melted butter. Add sugars, eggs, and vanilla; combine well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon for topping.
  6. Pour batter into loaf pan and sprinkle topping on top.
  7. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a cooling rack.
