Slow Cooker Honey Pork Roast Recipe That Melts in Your Mouth


Ingredients

  • 3 pound pork loin
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • salt and fresh ground pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • green onions (to garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the red pepper flakes, garlic powder, minced onion, and thyme.
  3. Rub the mixture onto the pork loin.
  4. Sear the pork loin for 3 minutes on each side.
  5. Flip the roast halfway through cooking for even browning.
  6. Set the roast in a crockpot.
  7. In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and Dijon mustard.
  8. Pour the sauce over the roast and cook on low for 4–5 hours.
  9. Slice the green onions and garnish with them.
  10. Serve crock pot pork loin garnished with green onion. Enjoy!
