Description

This Shrimp Crab Lasagna is the ultimate creamy seafood comfort dish. Layers of tender noodles, juicy shrimp, and sweet lump crab are baked in a rich Alfredo and cheese sauce until golden brown and bubbling.

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (extra-virgin recommended)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz lump crab meat (avoid imitation)
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese (whole milk)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded (plus more for topping)
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated (plus more for topping)
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce (or homemade equivalent)
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped (plus more for garnish)
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko or classic)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven – Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Pasta – Boil noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain and lay flat to avoid sticking.
  3. Cook Seafood – In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium. Sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add shrimp and cook until pink. Stir in crab meat, salt, and red pepper flakes. Cook 2 minutes more, then remove from heat.
  4. Mix Cheeses – In a bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, ½ cup parmesan, heavy cream, and parsley. Stir until smooth.
  5. Assemble Lasagna – Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of your baking dish. Layer noodles, cheese mixture, seafood, and more sauce. Repeat for 3 layers, finishing with sauce on top.
  6. Add Toppings – Sprinkle remaining mozzarella, parmesan, and breadcrumbs evenly across the top.
  7. Bake – Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
