Ingredients

- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: Diced onions, chopped green bell peppers, pinch of cayenne pepper
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add diced onions (if using) and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and parsley.
- Add rice and toast for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in broth and soy sauce, season with salt and pepper, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
- Fluff rice with a fork and serve.
