Ingredients
Scale
- 6 large eggs: Hard-boiled
- 2 tablespoons miso paste: (white or yellow for a milder flavor)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise: For creaminess
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar: For tanginess
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce: For umami flavor
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil: For a nutty taste
- Salt and pepper: To taste
- 1 green onion: Thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds: Toasted (optional)
- Nori sheets: Cut into small strips (optional)
- Chili oil: For drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, cover the pan, remove it from heat, and let the eggs sit for 10-12 minutes.
- After the time is up, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for 5-10 minutes. Peel the eggs once cooled.
- Slice the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks, placing them in a mixing bowl.
- Add the miso paste, mayonnaise, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to the yolks. Mash together until smooth and creamy.
- Spoon or pipe the miso filling back into the egg whites. You can use a piping bag for a nice presentation.
- Top each deviled egg with sliced green onions, toasted sesame seeds, and nori strips if using.
- Drizzle with chili oil for an extra kick, if desired.
- Arrange the Savory Miso Ramen Deviled Eggs on a serving platter and enjoy!
