These savory BBQ boneless chicken bites are crispy, saucy, and incredibly satisfying.

- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
- 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 0.75 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized chunks and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a small bowl, whisk the eggs. In another shallow dish, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken piece in the egg, then coat evenly in the dry mix. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in an air fryer basket.
- Bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through. For air fryer, cook at 375°F for 12–14 minutes until golden and crisp.
- In a small saucepan, combine BBQ sauce, honey, and hot sauce (if using). Simmer on low for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Transfer cooked chicken to a large bowl. Pour sauce over and toss to coat. Serve hot.
