- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 3 cups frozen hash browns, thawed
- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain and set aside.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter. Spread the thawed hash browns evenly on the bottom and press slightly.
- Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the hash browns, followed by shredded cheese.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth. Pour the mixture evenly over the dish.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 40–45 minutes, or until set in the center and golden on top.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
