Description
Enjoy these Samoa (Caramel Delite) Rice Krispie Treats, a delicious twist on the classic cookie!
Ingredients

- 1/3 cup unsalted butter (for melting)
- 5 cups mini marshmallows (use fresh for best results)
- 6 cups Caramel Crunch cereal (or similar cereal)
- 11 oz caramels (for the caramel layer)
- 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream (for the caramel layer)
- 1 1/2 cups toasted coconut (toasty flavor enhances the treats)
- 3 cups milk chocolate chips (for dipping and drizzling)
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir until completely smooth and gooey, about 3-5 minutes.
- Gently fold in the Caramel Crunch cereal until each piece is beautifully coated.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan, pressing down evenly.
- In another saucepan, combine the caramels and heavy whipping cream over medium heat. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Spread the coconut on a baking tray and toast in an oven preheated to 350°F for about 10 minutes.
- Stir the toasted coconut into the melted caramel and pour evenly over the Rice Krispie mixture.
- Melt the milk chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth.
- Once cooled, slice the treats into squares and carefully remove them from the pan.
- Dip the bottom of each square into the melted chocolate.
- Drizzle the remaining chocolate over each treat.
- Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving.
