- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 cups peeled and thinly sliced apples
- ½ cup salted caramel sauce
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until combined. Add flour slowly until crumbly.
- Press about two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In another bowl, toss sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg; spread over the crust.
- Drizzle salted caramel sauce on top of the apples.
- Crumble remaining mixture over apples and caramel.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until topping is golden brown and apples are tender.
- Allow cooling completely before cutting into bars.
