  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt (plain)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp honey (optional)
  • ½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, chopped onion, parsley, and spices. Stir gently until everything is well blended.
  2. Shape the mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter. Let them rest on a plate for 5-10 minutes to firm up.
  3. Warm olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
  4. Carefully place the patties in the skillet, frying for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, honey, and seasoning.
  6. Drizzle the creamy lemon-garlic sauce over the salmon patties or serve it on the side.
