Roasted Stuffed Dates with Goat Cheese and Honey are the perfect sweet-and-savory appetizer for holidays, parties, or cozy nights in.
Ingredients

- 12 oz Medjool dates, pitted
- 4 oz goat cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup walnuts, finely chopped
- 2 tsp fresh rosemary or thyme
- Zest and juice of 1 orange
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of sea salt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Honey or hot honey for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Make a small slit in each date and remove the pit, if not already pitted.
- Stuff each date with about 1 tsp of goat cheese.
- In a small bowl, combine walnuts, rosemary (or thyme), orange zest, orange juice, cinnamon, sea salt, and olive oil.
- Spoon a bit of the walnut mixture over each stuffed date.
- Roast for 15 minutes until dates are warm and slightly caramelized, and nuts are toasted.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, then drizzle with honey or hot honey before serving.

- These dates are great for vegetarian entertaining.
