This Red Velvet Brownie recipe offers a delicious twist on traditional brownies by incorporating rich cocoa, vibrant red food coloring, and creamy white chocolate chips.

- 1 cup plain flour
- 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 150g butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar (220g)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1–2 tsp red food colouring
- 100g white chocolate chips
- Icing sugar, to serve
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C fan bake and line a 20cm square brownie tin with baking paper.
- Whisk together the melted butter and sugar. Add the egg, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and red food colouring, whisking thoroughly.
- Sift or add the plain flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined. Pour in the white vinegar and mix gently.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Transfer the batter to the lined brownie tin and smooth it out evenly.
- Bake for 24-28 minutes until the top is crisp and the center is just set.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting. Dust with icing sugar before serving.
