Description
These no-bake Puppy Chow Bars combine chocolate, peanut butter, and crispy Chex cereal into sliceable dessert bars coated with powdered sugar.

- 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter together. Stir continuously until smooth and fully combined.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Add the Rice Chex cereal to a large bowl. Pour the melted mixture over the cereal and gently fold to coat evenly, being careful not to crush the pieces.
- Press the mixture into a parchment-lined 9×9-inch baking dish, smoothing the top into an even layer.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar generously over the top and lightly press it in so it sticks.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm. Slice into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.
