- 1 can 12 oz evaporated milk
- ¾ can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 box 15.25 oz yellow cake mix
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
- Vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and position a rack in the center. Grease a 9 x 13 inch metal baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin purée, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, pumpkin pie spice, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the prepared pan and gently tap the pan to release any air bubbles.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture, breaking up any clumps.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix topping.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until the topping is golden and crisp.
- Allow the cake to cool for at least 25 minutes before serving.
