- ⅓ cup pizza sauce or passata

- Optional: goat cheese (for variation)
- Pepperoni (about 15 slices)
- Mushroom slices
- Bell peppers

- Red onion slices
- Fresh basil (add after baking)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place thawed puff pastry sheet on the tray.
- Score a ½-inch border around the edges (don’t cut through).
- Brush pastry lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 5 minutes to partially cook the crust.
- Gently press down the center of the pastry after prebaking.
- Spread ⅓ cup pizza sauce inside the border (thin layer).
- Sprinkle 1 cup mozzarella evenly.
- Add desired toppings (avoid overloading).
- Bake for 10 more minutes until: Cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Edges are golden and crisp.
- Cool for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve with basil or a drizzle of olive oil.
