- 1 cup milk (oat, almond, coconut, or dairy)
- 1 teaspoon beetroot powder (or roasted beet purée as an alternative)
- 1–2 teaspoons sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or your choice)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Heat 1 cup milk over medium-low heat until steaming (not boiling).
- Add: 1 tsp beetroot powder.
- Add: ½ tsp vanilla extract.
- Add: 1–2 tsp sweetener.
- Optional spices (cinnamon, ginger, etc.).
- Whisk for 1–2 minutes until smooth and lump-free.
- Pour into a mug and top with frothed milk or whipped cream.
- Sprinkle cinnamon or beetroot powder on top (optional).
- In a small bowl, mix: 1 tsp beetroot powder, sweetener, vanilla, and a little warm water or warm milk to form a smooth paste.
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Add 1 cup cold milk.
- Pour the beet paste over the milk and stir well.
- Top with cold frothed milk or coconut cream for extra creaminess.
