Description

Instructions
- Mix warm whole milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit ~5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add sifted flour, salt, and (optional) gel red food coloring.
- Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour or until doubled.
- Punch down the risen dough and roll it into a 1/4-inch thick rectangle.
- Spread softened butter over the surface.
- Sprinkle brown sugar + cinnamon mixture evenly.
- Roll into a tight log and slice into 12 rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and let rise 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake rolls 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before frosting.
- Beat together cream cheese and butter until fluffy.
- Add vanilla and milk.
- Mix in powdered sugar + pinch of salt until smooth.
- Add pink food coloring if desired.
- Spread onto warm rolls so it melts slightly.

- Ensure the milk is warm, not hot, to activate the yeast.
- You can adjust the amount of cinnamon based on your preference.
- For a deeper pink color, add more food coloring to the frosting.
