  • 1/2 cup coconut cream or heavy cream
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks or tidbits (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the crushed pineapple with its juice evenly across the bottom of the dish.
  3. Add the diced pineapple and sprinkle shredded coconut over the top.
  4. Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the fruit layer.
  5. Pour the coconut cream or heavy cream on top without stirring.
  6. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the surface.
  7. Slowly drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
  8. Scatter pineapple chunks across the top (optional).
