  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons ground mustard
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 21/2 to 3 pounds miniature hot dogs or smoked sausage links
  • 1 large lemon, sliced

Instructions

  1. Sauté the onion in canola oil over medium heat until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in ketchup, water, cider vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, honey, ground mustard, paprika, salt, pepper, and hot pepper sauce.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Arrange the mini hot dogs in your slow cooker and pour the sauce over them.
  5. Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 4 to 6 hours.
  6. Serve the Party Franks with lemon slices.
