Description

These Parmesan Crusted Chicken Tenders are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and topped with a silky lemon cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs chicken tenders
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or Italian-style)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for pan-searing) or cooking spray (for air-frying)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 tbsp capers

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F or heat oil in a skillet over medium-high.
  2. Mix Parmesan and breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl. Dip tenders in egg, then coat in Parmesan mixture.
  3. Cook tenders until golden and crisp—about 8–10 minutes in air fryer or 3–4 minutes per side in skillet.
  4. Meanwhile, melt butter in a small saucepan. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in cream, lemon juice, zest, and capers (if using). Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Drizzle lemon cream over chicken and serve with fresh arugula salad or roasted veggies.
