Ingredients

  • 1 cup cold water or coconut water
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime or lemon juice
  • 12 tsp honey or sugar (optional, to taste)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Peel and seed the ripe papaya, then chop it into chunks.
  2. Add the papaya, water or coconut water, lime or lemon juice, and sweetener (if using) to a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. For a thinner juice, add more water or strain through a fine mesh sieve.
  5. Pour into glasses over ice and serve immediately, or refrigerate to chill.
