This one pot creamy garlic pasta is pure comfort food bliss—creamy, cheesy, garlicky, and made with just one pot.
Ingredients

- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 2 cups milk or half-and-half
- 12 oz penne or your favorite pasta
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley or basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot or deep skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in broth and milk. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add uncooked pasta. Stir to prevent sticking and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed (about 12–15 minutes).
- Reduce heat to low. Stir in parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until creamy.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and extra parmesan. Serve hot!
