- 1 lb (450g) chicken breast tenders
- 1 lb (450g) asparagus, woody ends trimmed
- 3 tbsp (45g) butter, melted
- 1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil
- 1 lemon (half juiced, half sliced)
- 1 tsp (5g) Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp (5g) garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through; remove and set aside.
- Add asparagus to the same skillet and sauté for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return chicken to the pan.
- Whisk melted butter, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning; pour over chicken and asparagus.
- Garnish with lemon slices and parsley.
