  • 1/2 cup tempura flakes
  • 1/4 cup okonomiyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup Kewpie mayo
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare your veggies: Finely shred cabbage and chop green onions.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine flour and water; whisk until smooth.
  3. Add the good stuff: Fold in cabbage, green onions, and tempura flakes until evenly coated.
  4. Heat your pan: Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat with oil.
  5. Cook the pancakes: Pour batter into the skillet, forming circles about an inch thick. Cook undisturbed for 5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Flip & finish: Flip gently using two spatulas and cook for another 4 minutes until both sides are golden brown. Drizzle with okonomiyaki sauce and Kewpie mayo before serving.
