- 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1/2 cup protein powder
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, and ground flaxseed. Stir to ensure everything is evenly distributed.
- Add the peanut butter and honey to the dry ingredients. Mix well until everything is fully combined and forms a dough-like consistency.
- If desired, fold in the mini chocolate chips for a bit of sweetness and crunch.
- Using your hands, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls. You should get around 12–15 protein balls.
- Place the protein balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set. This helps the flavors meld and makes them easier to eat.
- Store the oatmeal peanut butter protein balls in an airtight container in the fridge. They should stay fresh for up to a week.
