- 1 lb boneless chicken thighs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Slider buns
Instructions
- Marinate: Place the chicken thighs in buttermilk and soak for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the coating: Mix flour with paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Dredge the chicken: Remove chicken from buttermilk, shake off excess, and coat in the seasoned flour mixture.
- Heat oil: In a skillet, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry chicken: Fry for 6–8 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Check temperature: Ensure chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Rest: Remove from oil and let chicken rest for 5 minutes.
- Make glaze: Whisk together honey and melted butter.
- Assemble sliders: Place chicken in slider buns, drizzle with honey butter glaze, and serve.
