Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Slider buns

Instructions

  1. Marinate: Place the chicken thighs in buttermilk and soak for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the coating: Mix flour with paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dredge the chicken: Remove chicken from buttermilk, shake off excess, and coat in the seasoned flour mixture.
  4. Heat oil: In a skillet, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry chicken: Fry for 6–8 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  6. Check temperature: Ensure chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Rest: Remove from oil and let chicken rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Make glaze: Whisk together honey and melted butter.
  9. Assemble sliders: Place chicken in slider buns, drizzle with honey butter glaze, and serve.
