Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1 can tomatoes (diced)
- 1 cup chickpeas (cooked)
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger (grated)
- 1 tsp harissa (or chili paste)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cumin, coriander, paprika, minced garlic, egg, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides.
- In the same skillet, add diced tomatoes, chickpeas, vegetable broth, cinnamon, ginger, and harissa. Stir to combine.
- Return the meatballs to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
